At her 2 month appointment, she weighed in at 13lb 4oz, what a chunker =) I think she hides it all in her cheeks. She also had her first shots, we're following Dr. Sears delayed vaccine schedule, so she'll get a max of 2 vaccines per visit, and she did great. The rotovirus vaccine is an oral liquid and Gracie decided that playing dead was better than drinking something that wasn't milk, it was hilarious. The nurse said no baby had done that before, I wish I had it on video! After tasting it once, she just closed her eyes and laid limp, but we finally got it all in her mouth. And she only had one shot, which she handled like a champ, she cried for a minute and then recovered. She was a little bit sleepy on Monday, but her leg didn't seem to bother her at all. And I loved that I didn't have to watch my baby in pain!
Other than that we're still adjusting, our house is a mess but I'd much rather snuggle my little girl than vacuum, although I've been doing better the last few weeks, our kitchen table is covered in papers , although I'm not sure that will ever change!
We switched to clothe diapers when she was a week and a half old and haven't looked back! We absolutely love them! They're so soft and we rarely have any trouble with leaking. We've chosen to use Bum Genius One Size Pockets 4.0. Washing them is simple, and I never have to run out to buy diapers.
This picture is from a few weeks ago, I promise to put up a recent one soon =)
