Big Changes!

I'm pretty sure no one reads this, but just in case someone out there does, I'm pregnant!  I definitely don't look pregnant, but I definitely feel oh so different.  Besides the nausea and the absolute exhaustion.. who knew getting out of bed would be so tiring?!  But I can't help but flip-flop every second about the new addition to our family.  Greg and I feel so honored that God would allow us to raise a child, one of his children as a matter of fact, that it's overwhelming sometimes.. but I still have the fear of how much it's going to change our lives.  I know it will be for the better, I've yet to hear parents wish they hadn't embarked the on the journey of Parenthood.  Needless to say that we're super excited, and I'm so glad I have had the opportunity to spend time with some amazing parents, and can't wait to give it a try!

I'll have you know I DO read your blog and I wish you would write more. I'm excited for you and Greg. Parenthood IS a wonderful adventure, and it's full of exciting times. It's full of potholes, too. But, that's OK. We don't quit driving because there's a pothole in the road. We learn to drive around them. We grimace when we accidentally hit one. And, we repair any damage when we bottom out on one that catches us off guard. But, we don't stop driving. Parenthood will cause joy, pain, fear, worry, laughter, anger...you name the emotion and you will experience it with that little one. But, you will never, ever want to stop being a parent. It's the best calling there is! Congratulations. It's going to be the ride of your life! Miss you! Katy
